Christian Brothers Mechanical Services, Inc. places strong emphasis on providing a safe work environment in California. Safety is the first thing we think about when we step onto a jobsite and the last thing we check before we leave.

By emphasizing precautionary safe practice, and good safety choices, our safety program is designed to support and maintain a positive safety structure while improving our company’s overall safety record, and protecting our CBHVAC Family.

Safety Recognition

WORKERS’ COMPENSATION MOD RATE of .75

Christian Brothers has a MOD rate of .75 (2022), an exceptionally low worker’s compensation Experience Modification Factor (1.0 is considered industry average).  This is due to a sustained, huge effort by the entire CBHVAC team.

ABC STEP award – 2019 and 2018 Platinum Level

Christian Brothers is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Association (ABC) and an active STEP Program Participant, ABC’s Safety Training and Evaluation Process. STEP is a service that helps contractors develop, expand, and enhance their safety program. Christian Brothers has received the top level of recognition, the Platinum National Safety Excellence Award, in 2019 and 2018 for our achievements in safety.  In 2017 we received the Gold award.

CAL/ OSHA GOLDEN GATE RECOGNITION

Following a job site visit from CAL/OSHA, Christian Brothers was recognized by the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (CAL/OSHA) with Golden gate recognition, a commendation for having an Exemplary Safety and Health Management System. It was a great honor to be recognized by the State of California agency that is responsible for safety and safety protocol.

CBHVAC is an Active Member of ISNetworld (ISN), ISNetworld is a Safety Contractor Management Company, ISNetworld verifies and evaluates our health, safety, and procurement information to ensure regulatory and client specific requirements are met. ISN’s review process authenticates that we are a safe and reliable Contractor, that were are up to date on all Osha Compliance, and our efforts are above average when it comes to safety. ISNetworld has rated CBHVAC as an Above Average Contractor and has given CBHVAC a third party authentication that we are on the right track when it comes to Safety!
